These are the general, most basic rules of Animaland.
-Respect your fellow RP’ers. -keep swearing and profane gestures to a minimum. Most words are blocked anyways. -Be fair. -No godmoding. For those of you who don’t know what godmoding is, its controlling other peoples characters and/or making your character nigh on impossible to kill. For example Jason says his duck is going to kill Robbies mouse. Robbie cant say “Jason your duck trips and dies so I stay alive.” He would say something like “I jump out of the way.” Jason also couldn’t just kill the mouse just like that. He would have to wait for Robbies reply to see if he kills it, injures it, or misses.

RP’ing rules
-keep your posts as realistic as possible. You cant have a wolf jump 20 feet into the air or something like that. -be as descriptive as possible. Which of the following is better for RP’ing?:
Option 1: Jason (A wolf) bit the duck. The duck got scared and got away. Jason chased it.
OR
Option 2: Jason watched the duck waddle down the side of the lake, as if nothing was wrong in the world. A hungry look as in his eye, as if he hadn’t eaten for many days. He slowly crawled out of the bushes he was hiding in, not making a sound. All noises that he otherwise would have made were muffled by the smooth golden sand of the beach.
He was so close to the duck now he could practically taste it. Rearing down on his haunches, he tensed the muscles, ready to spring. At the last possible minute, the duck turned its head slightly and spotted Jason flying towards him, his jaws opened wide, ready to tear the duck to a million little pieces for dinner. His humanlike reactions enabled him to take flight just in time, Jason barely touching the tips of his tail feathers.
He stayed low to the ground, trying to lose Jason in the forest. Jason gave chase, weaving in and out of the trees and bushes, expertly vaulting over vines and rocks. Twice he almost tripped and fell which would result in the immediate loss of his prey. The duck swerved in and out of the trees above him, trying to shake him off but Jason would not let him go.
At least not yet.
Right. Option two is a lot more enjoyable to read, much more descriptive, and more fun to write, I think.
-keep smilies to a minimum. They kind of take away from the post if you have too many. -Use OOC- when you are talking out of character. For example if you are asking a question to another member in your post you would do something like this:
OOC- What should happen next?
IC- Jason read the…

Character Creating rules
-Keep your character realistic. -Don’t make them too young, as they will most likely not be accepted because the younger they are the harder they are to have fun with. -Follow certain guidelines:
Name: obvious Race: It can be any animal that exists in the world today. Age: obvious Gender: Male or Female Loyalties: Choos whether your character is loyal to no one or their kingdom (Feline, Canine, Shark etc.) Home: Where your character lives
Appearance: Tell us in as much detail as possible what your character looks like.
Personality: How does your character act? Is it nice, shy, mean or whatever?
lifestyle: How your character lives his or her life. Does she play it by ear or follow a specific routine.
History: What has happened to your character up to the point where you start RP’ing with him. This is where you usually put the most description.
You can also add anything else you feel is needed.
-Your characters cant have any knowledge of human cultures with the one exception of Uhdgal’s one character. -Species are not endangered on this island because there are no humans to kill them for meat, furs, horns, trophy, or whatever else they are hunted for. No settlements destroy their homes and the polar parts of the island haven’t started melting yet.
